Wild Horses Galleries
Wyoming has the second largest population of wild mustangs--second only to Nevada. The challenge is to capture them in such a way they appear "wild". Unlike pasture horses, wild mustangs normally move in herds which contain smaller bands of stallions, mares and foals. Battles between challenging stallions can be savage.

The weary and battle scarred band stallion will tolerate it only to a point, then must run the challenger away. Occasionally, the challenger will stand his ground and push the encounter to establish a clear winner.
